A single contiguous sheet of washi paper with a kneaded texture comprises a five-sided body which acts as a light filter. Four original watercolor painting appliques set into debossed ovals are illuminated by the filtered light. The paper element floats atop four paper-wrapped posts that terminate with diminutive hand-formed feet. An internal brass structure unites the paper element with legs and lighting components.
